NYC Event Forum is now active!

Yes, now you folks can enjoy what us over in Toronto have had for a while.

Hopefully this will reduce a ton of clutter in here and make it easier for everyone.

Promoters will also like the guestlist features

I know I was able to see events that were going on in DC in a thread in here. Will I still be able to see those events somewhere? I travel there a lot and check the events frequently.

yea that sounds about right... Add the event and Tom will put it on the planner but if u want to see the actual thread, flyer, details, or talk about it go into the event section.

Don't worry guys. I'll still update the planner.

The event forum could work if it stays in date order. I think people are going use the wrong subject titles & throw it out of order. Users are also going to post in both forums, or the wrong forum, not knowing or trusting the other forum to get their message out.

I'm interested to see if it works out

It's worked out pretty well for us in TOTA. Only thing is people that don't follow rules and post the actual events in the event forum can get a bit annoying but that rarely happens to reg posters obviously.

If you create a new thread in there you're forced to select the date from drop down boxes
