so it's time for a new video card

when I first built this pc, I had stopped playing video games pretty much all together. so I bought a pretty crappy video card (which actually worked surprisingly well and lasted me a some time). but as of late I have been getting back into video games and my video card needs some updating.

I am a big nvidia fan and was looking around the range of the 260's. I'm was looking between these two cards:

the MSI one has slightly better qualities in its specs. I haven't really followed gaming and hardware for a few years, so I don't know if the very slight differences are worth the $17 or so more I'd pay including shipping? also, I've had a couple EVGA cards and have been satisfied with them. I have never dealt with MSI products, so what are your thoughts on them? I do take other things such as customer service into consideration as well.

I'm also up for recommendations of different cards as well. just nothing over $200.

i dont think the 5970s even got a release date yet

They appear to have been released, but they were produced in such low numbers that they sold within hours of stores getting them. I'm keeping tabs on newegg if they get a 5970 in, I'm buying it as quick as I can hit order, hehe. I'm currently on a NV 7800GTX 256mb, so this is going to be a HUGE upgrade.
