tiesto + three six mafia
i thought the combo would be terrible..but the song is actually pretty catchy. Think this song is actually better than guetta's stuff with rappers. Would be good for a club..but I have a feeling its going to get way too overplayed
thoughts???

i thought its okay... i can see it being played at mainstream clubs already.... the open format djs will be all over it...
yep, vegas music.
Three 6 Mafia has betrayed me
Do you think Tiesto produced that song? or is it really (Dennis Waakop Reijers) the master mind?
Song is crap. The actual song might not be too bad but the lyrics and the rappers on top of it destroy any slight chance of win. Where Guetta may have succeeded in at least getting a few edm fans and mainstream fans to enjoy his music, i think tiesto lost even more edm fans.

Go ahead and explain how hip hop is edm? I may have not got the memo when I started listening to house and techno (early 1990's to be exact). And please don't say that C&C music factory is hip hop.

Song is not very good, one listen is enough.
Music Evolves. We are just watching it happen. Tiesto is Single now and clearly likes to party, Collaboration with Oscar winning 36 Mafia was inevitable. Very surprised at just how Open Minded some people can't be. Tiesto has stated he prefers the instrumental on his PODCAST.
AeroSmith once collaborated with RUN DMC, needless to say that changed modern music FOREVER.
I can see where you're going with this, but comparing AeroSmith and RUN DMC to Tiesto and 36 Mafia isn't a good comparison.
I like the music, but the vocals/rapping in it isn't good. It feels like they tried way too hard.
I'm sure tons of fans weren't happy with the collaboration RUN DMC did, either. Even Russell Simmons wasn't too open to the idea till he saw the bigger picture. Yet that track did influence many of the current people in the Music game right NOW. Track is what you make of it, in my own opinion. Good party music with or without the vocal overlay. I can only hope this track inspires some kid that has never heard European influences to change the game in a few years.
=)
Well new music is always good, so it's good that Tiesto is going for it. You will always have tracks some people don't like, but at the end of the day if it changes things then I'm all for it. Good to have a fresh sound.
