Anyone going to this? I'm gonna walk over and check it out on Sat.. This year's theme is Portugal, mmm

Got my tickets and I'll be there tomorrow night. This'll be my 3rd year in a row going to this....it's lots of fun.

so i get there, pay for parking, walk 10 min through the convention center to find signs saying "SOLD OUT"

needless to say i was quite pissed because we had planned to attend this for a while now and the lineup for ppl who had tix was retarded. they were at capacity...fucking sucks.

we went to fox n fiddle to pound back a pitcher then we decided to check out the everything about sex expo which was pretty cool! some of the stuff i saw there was pretty wild lol

oh well maybe next year...cant wait for the hamilton food festival instead it was really good!!

What a disaster this expo is.

probably not going to go again next year if the ticketing is the same way as this year.

we showed up at 6, checked our coats and went downstairs when they told up that the wait was going to be 2 hours to get inside. So we left.

So stupid to sell tickets for all three days. Obviously everyone is going to want to go friday saturday and it turns into a disaster. They should sell tickets only for one day and you choose which day you wanna come in advance.

Going to try to go today.

Stefan, I am glad you at least went to check out the Sex Show. That was more exciting than standing in line.

Tickets were still available for sale as of 4 PM yesterday online. By 7 PM everything was sold out. It's like everyone just decided on a whim to all go at the same time - very Toronto-ish..

That line seems to get longer as each year goes by. I probably wouldn't have gotten in if I didnt happen to find friends near the front who let me in with them. Starting next year I think I'll make this an annual saturday afternoon outting instead of an evening thing to avoid the crowds. Asides from that, the show was great. I noticed quite a few new wines etc to try out and a lot more free samples this year.
