I'm not a fan of perfection. It gets boring quickly. I'd rather their be minor imperfections in things, it's so much more interesting. Now, granted, a major lisp would be a bit odd, but saying words a bit weirdly or having a very minor lisp is good, in my book.

Then you notice the person is not perfect. A tooth is slightly crooked, she has a lisp, or her legs look funny. Unless you consider that to be extremely disgusting (so she loses all the "extra points" she had earned when you first saw her), you quickly adapt that to the whole frame, and what could've become a disadvantage suddenly works on her favour.
Hence, something that isn't attractive per se suddenly becomes attractive to you, because it's now related to a previous attractive experience.

this is what you do (i'm talking about YOU, not anyone else).

1. you see an attractive girl, hot, maybe big boobs, way out of your league.

2. you see she has a snaggle tooth, a big mole, a crooked leg, and you think to yourself, hey she's not perfect maybe i could get her.

3. you become attracted to her because you think she's in your league.

What the hell is this whole league talk all about? I don't think I've ever looked at a girl and said "I think she's out of my league". It's her choice, not mine!

I lisp when I'm nervous. I remember when I was like 7, telling a teacher my name was Chrissanna. She said, "Chrithanna?"

arrrgh.

Then I was sent to speech therapy. Don't ask me how that went. Actually, I'll tell you.

I had to practice putting my tongue somewhere. I think behind my front teeth. I forget which, bottom or top. So every day, I practiced. Over and over. Like 100 times.

Then one day, the speech therapist said, everyone in class is showing marked improvement except for Chrissanna...because she doesn't try.
