tiesto at ruby skye was a scam. Yes, Tiesto showed up and stand behind some guys, who sorry, no offense but needed to stop mixing and let tiesto mix. Tiesto's name was on the display but these two guys where mixing.

Tiesto played part of the set, tagging with two guys. The energy level jumped randomly up and down like Vegas mashup. There was no coherence. Even the bpm varied randomly. I guess it appealed to people with short-attention spans. Nevertheless, it was pretty entertaining.

So I'm guessing that the guys tagging with Tiesto or playing for tiesto while Tiesto jumped around behind them and looked at his CD case, was DADA LIFE?

LOL that is so funny haha did you guys like the set? Did it even go anywhere because when you tag it up out of the blue like that set flow seem to go all over the place.

the previous promoters dj was still playing house when i got there, stage was cleared of people as bjorn niclas played some trance/prog for maybe 30 min. for a bit, they closed the balcony upstairs but they re-opened it as more people trickled in from cow palace. then dada life alone for 30 min, playing their electro, and then tiesto joined.

overall, that's the most electro i've heard in a while. and it was kind of all over the place... just a sort of wild vegas party set. but dada life's energy was great and they did do some fun hard mixing.

in that time, tiesto was 15% cueing/mixing on his headphones, 35% jumping around with dada life, and 50% shuffling through the CDs. so i guess it was more of an "appearance".

by 4:30 when tiesto and dada life got off, i think there were quite a few ravers left over unsatisfied and so dyloot and bjorn tag teamed with some trance. it was also the most glowsticks i've seen at ruby in a very long time.

well Tiesto finish his set at the Cow Palace with loads of ENERGY! Which left many wanting more. When he announced that he would be at Ruby Skye, I imagined it would be a memorable set, since the last time something like this happened for the POP afterparty, he tag team with Ferry Corsten..

The Dada guys did not match the energy of Ferry and did not satisfy the needs of everyone who was dup in attending this to see TIESTO play. I would had been happy with 30 - 60 minutes of Tiesto. I mean dada life sucked so much at the cow palace, closing with Lion King's Circle of LIFE?? Hahah come on REALLY??!
