What ever happend to Ultra Spins?

Sorry if this a repeat topic but was wondering today whatever happend to these events, they sort of just stopped happening. I remember back in the day seeing Danny Howells with like Dj Dan and others and another one with John Creamer and Stephne K I Believe? Were they just unsuccessful or what was the reason behind teh end of these events? What was your Favorite one?

What happened is that the government banned tobacco advertising.

You're thinking GoldClub.

From what I remember they didn't have the tobacco ad around the same time as the UltraSpins. If they did there were still a few after the fact.

Also, Jason, yeah mang I went to prob 3/4 of the Ultra Spins, so many fun times.

I remember the first one, KH was Ferry and James Holden along w another dj (dj Dan I think).

It was because of this party that I was so looking forward to Lawler at Amnesia...

He was great back then...

there was still sponsorship after 2003 until they banned that too.

Thats partly why guv was so cheap for all those years. Still is if u ask me.

Cover at guv even now is usually half the going rate for most of the world to hear the djs that come in.
