56 days of Vacation....where to go?

So I'm more than likely going to be deploying to Kabul Afghanistan for 365 days starting December of 2010. At the beginning of the year, I will have 26 days of vacation saved up; and i earn 2.5 days per month. Thus giving me a total of 56 days to spend by the end of December 2010.

I figured, if i'm going to be away from vacation for a whole year, i might as well enjoy my time in the states before I go.

where should i go?

Well $2k over 56 days is basically living at the poverty level, so I suggest you go wherever you can get the cheapest room and board.

oh, no i meant kind of per vacation. i'm not planning on going all56 days at once; spread them out over the year....so 1-2k per event.

haha yeah i know. maybe in 2012 when i get back from my deployment (i'll have another 30 days saved up for when i get back).
