Thoughts on the 3rd major change in Tiesto's music

personally, all i can say is WHAT THE FUCK???????????????????? oh and of course paris hilton makes an appearance towards the end for a brief second. this sounds like a really bad frat boy/party favorite in the making. i guess no more lady blahblah though...

i think the rapping/lyrics are absolutely terrible. the beat is alright, nothin special... cant stand flo rida =/ and sean kingston.... i wish he at least ocllaborated with some real artists

Totally disappointed with this! I respect him as a DJ for what he has done, but this is upsetting!

omggg its the end of the world cuz tiesto changes his sound...deal with it shows he can work with anyone.

...its not trance, and shouldnt be treated or rated as such or compared to trance/techno/house. Its a side project, Three 6 Mafia heard the dub version, asked tiesto if they could write lyrics for it, and this is what came out. is tiesto turning to rap? no and he hasnt changed and hammerstein friday night and the chicago show proved that.

that youtube video is entertaining, i still think he lost a bet and that's why he was part of that song.

The way I see it, is that: Tiesto is the Brett Favre of EDM.

Fuck Tiesto !!! we have Tyas and Patterson

oh noes! Its another one of "these" threads. My prediction is the PVD vs. Armin vs. Tiesto and my favorite dj comments will begin by page 3

I wonder... would you blow Tiesto if given the chance? (no offense)

lol

there is absolutely nothing wrong with cross-genre productions. ok. just let it go guys. the song is iite. its obviously not trance and whoever made the comment above is right, it shouldnt be treated as such.

the guy is an artist, so let him create. who said he has to stick with trance his whole life? and to say that song is shit is an opinion. not a fact.

im not saying its good or bad. im just sayin, son. just let a nigga eat

I'm not saying its good or bad. I'm not saying Tiesto is not an artist. I'm saying Flo Rida, Sean Kingston and that guy from 36 Mafia aren't artists, and what they created is dogshit.

i'm just crossing my fingers that this is a plan to get everyone in the states to love tiesto tracks. then he will slowly transition back into early 2000s-tijs and everyone will start loving trance.

off to the liquor store again, bbs.

Thumbs down

Definitely Disappointed in this new music style....I'd personally love for him to go back to the "Just Be" Era!!! Someone needs to smack him!

+1... I actually think some of the things on his album are pretty cool, especially the collabo with Jonsi, and Priscilla Ahn, for starters... This, on the other hand...

I wouldn't call one time thing a "major change". There is an interview with him on YouTube somewhere talking about Kaleidoscope release. He was talking about feel of Kaleidoscope, new collaborations, changing style, blah blah... So he mentioned Three 6 Mafia thing saying it was interesting, but doesn't see himself moving in that direction.
I still haven't seen or listened that crap.

all businesses reach a peak before they go downhill and this might be the peak for him. he might be saying that he isn't going that route now, but he's getting older and is going to have to pay the bills somehow when he loses his popularity.

should be interesting to see what happens to him in the next 5 years and how much he lives up to what he tells people during an interview.
