[Review] Deadmau5 @ Terminal 5... the next day

So maybe I'm a bit disappointed>>?

(2) hour set, ending at 2am? In NYC?

Scalpers wanting $180 for a ticket?

Btw, i paid $35 for my ticket, so i'm not worried about what everyone else paid. What upset me were a few minor details that, if i would've known before hand, would've prepared me a bit better for the night.

I should've:

> Got there earlier (arrived at 10:30)
> Known it was gonna be a teeny bopper fest (looked like high school musical)
> Realized that it's a venue, not a club. They only get a certain amount of allotted time to perform.
> Not taken a second bean at 12:00am lol

all in all, for those two hours he performed, he melted my face; thoroughly. so i'm happy for that. I mean, i wish it could've went to (the standard) 4am. I met some cool people, including a 37yr old hottie named Rachel from Queens. The train ride back to Bayside sucked ass; but i managed to get home safe.

p.s. sorry about the rant.

p.s.s. Please don't say 'i told you so' about the Tyas Rebel party

yea, seriously. more than half the crowd seemed like they were under 21 ...all fucked up and pretty fuckin annoying.

only took me about a minute to get right in, but still saw like two kids lose their IDs 'cause they were fake. didn't think it was gonna be thaaat bad inside, though. it was about 3 times worse than when Love was 19+.

Let me guess, it was a two hour deadmau5 listening party.

we honestly thought there was going to be some kind of encore... so by the time we got out of coat check and walked on the street, it was already 2:45. so it was either take the 3:19 train home to Bayside, or hunt down a place to party. we opted for the Queens route =/

Like the shirt. Haven't seen him live before, was worth going. The place was packed.

How was Kim Fai? Been loving his productions lately.

We told you so.

I have to say I have no problems with a younger crowd.

I always find them to be really energetic, really enthusiastic about the music, and up for having a lot of fun....I mean, I got that room to do the wave! wow.

When Kim Fai opened up, people were running to the front of the room and took their spots and didn't leave for the entire rest of the night.

I'll post some pics soon. We had a great time playing overall and thought deadmau5 did a great job.

Boston is just gross like that. people actually have hygiene awareness in NYC.

Sleepy and Boo killed it. The wave was awesome... especially viewing it from the top deck.

Thanks for the kind words. That was my first wave, so I'm gonna keep working on it
