Well done the altitude crew!

just like to give my appreciation for the fantastic time that i had there (or the 2 hours i was there anyway). nice atmoshpere, sound and tunes to b had, well done guys on ur first big nite, keep it up!!!

agreed, nice little venue that dendy bar, the sound system in the first room sounded a bit dodgy but meh...

nice room, nice tunes, nice scenery good work

p.s. any chance of me handing a demo cd in?

Yeah was a top night, props to everyone who helped get it off the ground...

Hopefully this will end up a fortnightly event or something, I think going weekly would make it lose some of it's aura..

But yeah, it's good to see it out-growing the venue on the first night

well I was there i was dancing near the door of the room for about 3 hours

tall guy, red hair check shirt....

fuck i hate it when the only space to dance is right near the doorway everyone always bumping into you

i liked the mac the lighting guy was using though !

yeah, i'm thinking the same thing. a weekly thing will lose some of its appeal, and waiting 2 weeks or even another month makes the anticipation even that much more exciting, to say the least

The first DJ (Andrew something i think) was very progressive, minimalist trance, not a lot of euphoric stuff until the end of his set, he dropped Natious - Amber (Silk Remix) .. storming track, from PvD's Ministry of Sound session a few years back...

Diggs & Morro were up next and they blasted out the uplifting stuff .. hands in the air type stuff

It gets a bit blurry after that, but I was in the main (trance) room for pretty much the whole night, didn't even stop to piss cos I didn't want to miss anything LOL

Unfortunatly my mate was starting work at 5am, so I we had to leave at around 4:30am, just as the anthems started hitting the speakers

And yeah Tranzmit u are a tall bastard

the last dj wasn't anything special imo, but i think that ton-e guy was good...i arrived when he was playing...pity i missed diggs & morro, sounds pretty good from what u said

Ha ha ha!! that was soo fun/funny!! Had a great time and the tunes were great till about 5 or 6 when they put on Dj bob or bub and he put on some evil rave music but other then that it was all good.

It was soo funny, i'm like looking around for the TA's and i'd at least seen fraggle and webmeisters pics so i was looking all around and up the front and i couldn't see anyone so i then look next to me on my left and theres this nut that looks vaguely like webmeister so i ask and he's "Yeah man Cool!". it's all good but then i'm trying to see Fraggle and the rest but damn there's heaps of asians in there, finally around 4 or 5 i see this guy in the back with glasses so i wonder over and say "Are you Fraggle?" but he shakes his head so i repeat it again and he says no so i go oh well. Give it 3 mins and he comes back over and says did you ask me if i'm Fraggle? And i said yeah and he starts jumping up and down and grinning like a cheshire cat so it was all good. (Note:events may be slightly distorted due to level of intoxicatiion)

Banger of a night though and we'll all have to meet up again for the next one

Sounds like a great night, maybe if I'm ever in Sydney for one I'll check it out. Unless something happens here then I won't need to...

Gday guys! hope everyone is well!

Wow! what a night friday was...we had reached capacity by 11:45pm and people were still arriving! The place was absolutely rammed and going nuts!

Thankyou to everyone who came down ont he night, I am glad everyone enjoyed it! and we'll hopefully see you at the next one. (We've got Sample Gee and Liquid M lined up for you!)

Regarding that track...it could have been 4 Strings - Diving or Tenth Planet - Ghosts, do you know which one of us was mixing? Morro (guy in red shirt, with white long sleeve underneath) or Diggs (black t shirt)??

Anyone got any suggested improvements for Altitude.002? We'll try and make them come true...

jus wondering as well if the line up for the next altitude is gonna be the same?
Also is the venue gonna be the same? dendys back room is a little small dont you think? i anticipate that there will be more numbers for the next event considering how well the first one went.
Also noticed that the bass was lacking in certain areas of the room as well.
Dont get me wrong, im not trying to tell you how to run the event, jus putting in my 2 cents worth of what i thought of the night.
these minor details didnt however ruin the night for me at all tho. Had a blast!!!!

hahah i remember u were singing every single word when ur mate was mixing, esp southern sun and ghost :P

only suggestion: if it's going to be at the dendy again, turn the air-con up .. it was really stifling in that back room at times...

Also there were some sound issues in that room...

All in all though an awesome night! good to finally hear real quality music in sydney again..

how many people does this dendy place fit?

Not sure on that one stips, but it ain't huge .. at a rough guess I'd say 200-300, maybe 500 tops.

PM morro, i'm sure he'll know ..

i was wearing my jumper when i got to the dendy but before id even walked in the door of the back room i had to take it off i could feel the heat....
