Audio 8 dj & xone 1D. store in miami ?

hey guys..so short story a friend of my dad is going to miami and i need a store that sells the NI audio 8 dj and xone 1D.. i need ASAP cuz this guy is flying to miami on wednesday.. it's a good chance to buy them cuz the audio 8 dj cost around 600 US$ where i am :S.. oh and what would u guys recommend since i wanna have two 1D's and the audio 8 ..there wont be enough usb ports on the MB pro... would using a usb hub add too much latency or wtf?

You'd think we'd have more options down here but it's really guitar center or best buy instrument store for brick and mortar options, neither of which carries the 1D.

miamitranceman: couldn't find the 1D or the NI audio in the website also checked guitar center and nothing.. damn i thought there would be more stores that sell dj stuff there

How do you know it doesn't work? I've had that happen before with my credit card, and it's not because it doesn't work internationally but because there are some sites that don't allow you to buy stuff when your billing address and shipping address are not in the same country.

Thankfully there are ways around this, one of them is to call the store and explain them your situation. They will either place the order for you via telephone or work things out with their site so that it allows you to buy it through it with your credit card.

The second option is setting up a PayPal account (assuming you don't already have one). You will have no problems setting it up with any credit card as they don't have the address restrictions I mentioned. Only thing is that you will need to have access to your statement online in order to activate it immediately. Otherwise, you have to wait until the statement comes in the mail and use a 3 digit code that will be indicated in the transaction. I think you might also be able to activate it immediately if you call the credit card company and ask them for the transaction code.

Where are you going to buy it from?

nope thats not the problem..this thing just wont work..sites dont recognize it as an international card..dunno why stupid card lol... and actually it's already too late to try the paypal thing and stuff..cant really order online as i dont know where the guy is gonna stay or anything like that..plus he said he'd prefer going to a physical store ..whatever..thanks for the help i'll guess it will just be the soundcard and no xones

I was thinking you could fund his PayPal account with your credit card or with someone else's and pay him the cash. Then ask your friend to buy the stuff for you.

And the Art Basel thing is an art exhibition that will take place in Miami and it's a reason why a lot of people are flying to Miami in the coming days, I figure.

ohhh ..mm dunno really, dont think so he is having some meetings and stuff.. so anyways my dad finally gave me a credit card that worked internationally :P and i ordered the stuff from audiolines.com.. anyone has ordered frm them ? how is it.. i read the stuff that they offered low prices from "showroom" units and blabla but really didnt care cause i wanted my stuff new.. plus it would accept me right away that billing and shipping adress weren't the same.. .i was gonna order from djdeals but couldnt use the paypal stuff because djdeals said they would decline al orders that had unconfirmed adresses and to confirm one i had to be from US. :S so..bottom line anyone has had problems with audiolines?
