Anyone shop at Parasuco?

We have a re-grand opening tomorrow at the Square One location from 7-9PM. I have 5 passes to give out, anyone want to go? 20% off all clothes, they will be serving finger food and wine and champagne, dj from montreal will be coming (forgot his name), some people from e-talk daily, etc....

I want to come, but busy after 7

that used to be my fav store, what happened to all the unique jeans parasuco had? they all look exactly the same these days

Posted by exstasie on Dec-02-2009 14:58:

Didn't know people still bought stuff from parasuco...

Posted by Capo di tutti on Dec-02-2009 15:28:

Diesel > Parasuco

anyways

I bought my jeans a couple of times from that locations. The girls always show lotsa cleavage, and you get your clothes in a very nice bag.

I bought from that company about 15 years ago when they were still a small outfit on Chabanel in Montreal. It was great to see them expand worldwide over the years.

You honestly think that's vain, $200 for a pair of jeans is getting off easy.

True religions are running $375-$475. And yes, people buy them like bottles of water. Most jeans are $220-$300 now. Ive seen jeans rise in price over the last 6 years and each season I wonder who the hell will pay for them, and each season people buy them like its nothing.

You should see what kinds of people buy high priced clothing and what they buy. Incredible.

Gay, okay. Tight? Go a size up!

i have tried going a size up but i still dont like the cut because i like my jeans pretty baggy.
and wearing bigger tshirts that are designed to be fitted just doesnt look right either.

Banana Republic jeans are my favourites.

Broken.

Not sure what you do with your jeans but if you actually take care of your clothes they should last you years regardless of what brand they are.

I know, states were hit hard in terms of high end luxury business for the last year. they are usually one of the first ones being hit and are selling themselves off for practically nothing. It's great if you can go down there, but jeans from the usa are usually cheaper than canada. (7's, r+rs, true religions, tavernitti etc). then add the discounts, sales, and additionals... you are laughing your way to the border.

I actually agree with that. Jeans don't last more than a year or so anyways, so who cares.

and Aritzia had the women's jeans by those 2 brands on major sale a few weeks back - $150/pair

I cannot justify paying more then $100 for a pair of jeans, srsly!

It's all about what you enjoy spending money on and things you dont. I don't understand investing more money into a car that already runs perfectly fine. ie performance parts, engines, car kits, exhausts etc, but i know people do because they enjoy it. same as anything else, clothes, food, books, electronics, cellphones, pens etc are all hobbies or interests people enjoy indulging in.

i for one enjoy nice clothing, so ill splurge on it. its almost a drug, that wears off every 2-3months until itch when i see somethign new lol.

the funny part is, i never wear all the good stuff to guv or big dj parties cause i know itll ruined. even my mcqueen tshirts i refrain from wearing to dj parties.

haha omg me too all my nice clothes stays away from Guv (I seriously thought I'm the only one like that since I see all my friends dressed so nicely every time, heh)

I can easily spend a few hundred on a quality dress, but not the jeans - cos even if they're are uber expensive and high-end brand and whatnot, you still gotta wear a nice top, boots etc etc to "glam" it up properly = more spending!

Ya i literally wear kleenex boxes on my feet when going to guv. my shoes get ruined after a big party. and as much as i understand clothing, i do not understand a womans love for shoes + 50 million bags/purses.

then again i could have as many jeans as my friend:

i have about a third of his collection. and just to let you know all these are minimum $250 each all the way to $500+.
