it's done!

Brazil and Portugal in the same group should be exciting

South Africa had the best chance of getting off easy and then landed some Mexico, Uruguay, and France! lol

Fuck serious brain lapse right their!
England got USA for their first game, which is a bit worrying...

group D and group G are definitely the highlights of this draw. Italy and Spain got off easy...cant wait for the games to begin!

I know... My Dad has big plans for Afrofest this year to show the final at Queen's Park. I'm part of his plan to help host this celebration of the first African world cup here in Toronto. Ya never know, I've noticed flight prices are drastically lower than normal.

But in the end it may be possible to work something out regardless of me going or not.

Can't wait for June...

Lots of good games at 7:30am. Guess I'll be going to work late a lot this summer :P

OK I might have to eat my words... I saw a "flight centre" ad in a metro for an 8 day S.A. trip during the world cup that included some BS safari package and the promise to "watch world cup soccer" (not tickets). It was posted for less than $900.

I was very suprised at the price but probably misinterpreted what it all included (flight was most likely NOT). Anyways, after I made that comment about cheap prices I started looking online. I realize now that prices still range anywhere from $2000 - $3000 per person for the flight alone. So for me that pretty much rules out going.

I'll ask my family where they buy their tickets as they're heading down to S.A. next week.

Sony signs 3-D video deal for 2010 World Cup to record up to 25 World Cup games in 3-D...

This'll be pretty cool imo

Both Koreas are in rather tough group, though North Korea is a big question mark because nobody really knows anything about them and South Korea could be the dark horse in that group
