Delta 9 Terror Squad Terrorist for some terror action |
gabber is a sub genre of hardcore
and it originated from north america
with the vicious scary synths/sounds
for example : omar santana/delta 9
terrorcore/gabber shit
personally i dont like it, its too hard and crap
many people who live in Holland will say yes because Holland was and still is the number one hardcore country.
but i believe gabber was invented in the USA and only then brought to the Netherlands
I knew this guy who beleives that Tiesto plays hardcore. lol
Although tiesto played it a long time ago, the kid still beleives he plays hardcore. ahahahaha. funny shit.
wait.....is gabber and happy hardcore the same?

| Originally posted by MaGiK54 Happy Hardcore killed "gabber" in the Netherlands. About 5 a 6 years ago gabber was big in The Netherlands. ID&T (Thunderdome) became the biggest house-company, because of gabber. And then there was happy-hardcore and a lot of gabbers (the term of a hardcore or gabber freak) got tired of hard-core (gabber) and "gabber" died for the meanstream. And a lot of hard-core freaks got hooked on trance or techno. Now in Holland gabber or hard-core is a underground type of house and a lot of neo-nazi's go to hard-core parties. It is said in this thread that gabber is from the USA, but in Holland it became very big. The biggest hard-core dj's are Dutch, DJ Paul Elstak, DJ Gizmo, DJ Buzz Fuzz, Neofight, DJ Isaac, Dark Raver. Some of this dj's are now spinning hard-house or trance. Tiesto did also spinned gabber years ago, about two years ago, when Tiesto said that gabber was for little children a gabber-producer made a record fuck dj tiesto. Tiesto became big and gabber didn't became big anymore (thank god). |
Some idiot called JP went to all these parties from 1993-1999
Best years of my life!
Hellraiser
Digital Overdose
Thunderdome
Megarave
Masters of Hardcore
etc etc
i havent heard any gabber....is it good? cuz from what im getting from u guys its crap so i just want to no everyones opinions so i dont waste my time downloading crap
If u want to hear some gabba from the States check out an artist called Rob Gee. He was responsible for that track "Ectasy u got what I need"
Such a stupid ass song in my opinion.
Some gabber is OK. Its an acquired taste though. I have about 4-5 Gabber CDs, from Mokum Records, Cyberdome and Thunderdome. I only like a few songs here and there. Most of it is very harsh, and IMO is very negative and violent. I much prefer hard trance, techno etc.

Check out Korsakoff - Tamara. It's on the new Thunderdome 2002 CD. It's a very good hardcore track I think.
i always thought gabber was fast psy trance like shiva played at about 150 BPM. thats some pretty crazy shit right there. if you wanna know what i'm talking about check out Shiva Space Japan.
u want to find out what real good hardcore gabber is??
try to find these songs:
Inferno Bros. - Slaves to the Rave
Darrien Kelly & Unknown MC - The people want more
Digital Boy - Ok, Allright (98 version)
Dr. Macabre - Poltergeist
Pino d'Ambini - Up & Down
Chosen Few - Name of the DJ
Neophyte - Execute
Rotterdam Terror Corps - Horror & Raveworld
they're not the hardest but definately some of the best
anyways it's not true Happy Hardcore took over the Gabberscene.. Neophyte made a track called "happy is voor homo's" and that's the way the die hards thought of the happy shit
