Owen F - A Glow From Far Away

Greetings TA,

Before I start, let me say that the video has nothing to do with this track. I mean, it doesn't make me think of a fight scene. Not sure why I uploaded it.

I really hope you all like it, as I think it's my personal best.

Thanks!

Fuckin excellent.

I personally like the little vocal in there.

And how do you get a youtube video to sound that high quality like that did?

Cheers Adi! Yeah, the vocal is probably my favourite part.

Regarding the Youtube quality, I have no idea. I just uploaded straight from Windows Movie Maker.

Im still using XP movie maker which rapes quality , later versions must be better.

I guess Soundcloud is really the best way to go these days in terms of quality streaming.

This is beautiful track Owsey and great addition to our TA compilation.

Well done man.

This is a class by itself.

I'm always envious of those that can create ambient soundscapes like this. I seem to lack the patience for it despite the fact I can sit there banging out chords using a massive pad patch for hours!

Where did you get that vocal sample from btw?

I'd definately say that tracks like this warrant a completely separate ambient TA album. And this would be the opening track for me.

Quality work!

Thank you very much I really appreciate all the feedback you give me. Will we be hearing any new music from you anytime soon?

Thanks a lot! To be honest, these sort of tracks come very quickly to me, but it's Dance tracks that take me a while to put together. With these tracks I really know what I'm aiming for.

Thanks once more!

I just happened upon this on another website and I have no idea how I missed it! Anyway, holy crap, dude - you really need to start getting your tracks in the hands of some record companies. Your music easily rivals some of the better-known chillout producers IMO. This is definitely one of my favorites from you so far. Very nice atmosphere and the vocal clip really keeps it interesting.

I like the idea of doing a chillout/ambient TA album - maybe make it a double album with an A-side of dance tracks and a B-side of chillout tracks???

Yup

I think after Christmas the first week or two of January will probably see plenty more entries.

I'm all for a seperate chillout section.

Wow, thanks very much, Dave. I have considered sending my tracks out before, but I'm trying not to rush into things. 2 years experience with music doesn't feel like enough for me.

Right now I believe my tracks are far from today's standard in terms of mixdown/mastering. It's something I would really like to learn more about.

Thanks once again. I appreciate it!

Cheers Az! As much as I would like to dive into the film business, I think it would be a very risky move on my behalf. I don't want to study for years and then struggle to find work at the end of it all. People tell me it's a very hard scene to get involved with.
