[Roll Call] Anybody down for Greenhouse on Thurs

I will be playing there in the basement from 10 - 1. I never been there before, I heard it's a great place. I think they have a strict dress code, but it's free all night, so if your looking for something to do, just stop by.

I've been dying to check this spot out since it was renovated from the Shelter days. I've seen pics and the decor/lighting looks amazing!

The spot is a very cool spot and the place looks sick, however the crowd is a very trendy crowd who will probably request hip hop at some point, so be ready Ali hahaha. Depending on work Friday, I might stop by for a hot sec.

Nice!!! Greenhouse is awesome... Last time I was there, they had an awesome afterhours. The crowd was all about house music, and there were a lot of hot girls... Have fun, hope to make it if my all-nighter doesn't last all night haha...

If someone requests hip hop, just say you've never heard of it before. That should go over well.

Yep according to the "rules" if he is advertising his own site and has no post history he is considered a "spammer". Deleted... He also mentioned filesharing on his site which is a big no no on TA.

I hope no hip hop requests, because I had enough of that in philly lol, but again should be fun. I don't know what the guys before me are playing, but if I get a chance to play trance, you know I will, lol.

I spoke to the opening DJ, he will likely be playing Prog House. Funny story... he is actually my really old friends boyfriend. (Non-TA) I've known this girl since I was 16 and when I saw the name on the flyer I called her up to confirm it was him. Small world!

How was this? anyone go?

I was told the place opened at 11:30. I got a call around 12 telling me to hurry up and get there, because the opening dj's laptop kept crashing, and the other DJ backed out. Lucky I wasn't far away, so I got there around 12:20.

There was a decent size line, and the place is so hard to get into, that they didn't want to let me and my friends in. They told me to wait on line, and I told they guy they need me in there to DJ, so froze my ass off for 10 mins. Finally the promoter came and got me and my friends.

The upstairs room was really nice, no dance floor, all vip, but really nice. They were playing hip hop, mash-up. I went down stairs and there was a mash up dj playing, and I was like crap, lol. There wasn't that many people downstairs, so I went on at 1, the room slowly started to fill up. Around 2 there was good amount of people, I would say about 150 people. I started off with progressive tacks, and worked my way to some harder progressive tracks. Played a lot of commerical tracks that I like, and I hoped would go well, and it did.

I got a good response from the crowd, people kept coming up to me asking for my card, every time they approached I though it was going to be a hip hop request, but lucky no request came and everyone was enjoying themselves.

The managers and works all came up to congratulate me, and I might have a monthly residency there, not sure yet. I have to wait and see. Would be nice, I have my fingers crossed.
