Sloevnian export and Ibiza resident Valentino Kanzyani has carved out quite an impressive resume for himself over the years. Currently managing his new "Jesus Loves You" imprint and a busy international tour schedule, we're very excited to welcome back this techno legend to our shores for this long overdue appearance since his last gig in 2004 at the legendary Vinyl.
Valentino will be making his only state-side appearance for up and coming event promoter Soiree on the newly-christened Valentino's Day -the day BEFORE Valentine's Day - at the aptly chosen venue "Love". Musical support provided by Propaganda's Alex Karalanian, along with Soiree residents Sam Allan and Pat King.
With an extended discography of big releases on world-renowned labels such as Intec, Sprout, Tronic, & Buedenzauber, remixes and collaborations with the likes of Chistian Smith, John selway, John Acquaviva, Shlomi Aber, and Davide Squillace, and a decade-long partnership with producer of he moment Umek that helped launch seminal techno labels Earristible Music and Recycled Loops, this artist is a veritable tour de force in the international dance music arena.
We're excited to finally get a chance to hear his unique blend of house and techno on New York City's best sound system!!
He has never been in NY as far as I know. Not sure about the rest of the US.
i belive he played at arc once
dunno wat hes been up to lately, but if hes anything like he was a few years ago i would check him out
his song nueva york is such a bomb
One of my favorite producers...he actually used to produce trance back in the day.
I still remember dropping his remix of Feelin Electro a couple yrs back in Philly...everyone always went nuts for that track.
I'd love to see him make it to NY sometime, however I doubt many would know who we is.
I think more DJ's know him then actual fans... Does he play with Umek alot over seas?

Does anyone think that a trance DJ and Tech house DJ would be a good blend together in a night?? I like both so i would enjoy it...Just curious.. maybe put the tech house dj 1st then trance at the end last hour... Any one else??

| Originally posted by yumpop I love that you miss arc. I always miss old Shelter/Vinyl, lolz. It is even better when people don't understand when you say Vinyl was on Hudson and Hubert, then they give you side eye like you're from Mars. It was such a good space. |

| Originally posted by AY STAR yea from like 99-02 instead of goin to factory and exit so much, i wish i would have went to twilo and arc. i never been to twilo, but i wish i went to arc more cause i now understand what that room was all about...imo those clubs were made for listening to music in, alot of dj's playing now i feel their sound would fit in very well in that room i pass by arc all the time and all i can do is just think back to the good times i had in there...the building is condo's now |
Twilo was by far the best club New york ever had. Twilo on Friday Nights for Sasha & Digweed every month and PvD every other Month was so much fun to look forward too. Danny Howells at Arc/Vinyl were great parties too! Those were the days!
I used to tell my factory friends back then they were missing out, they caught on to the good music years later lol sucks for them.
Valentino is nutzzzzz...got to see him when I was over in Ibiza...hes def a lot harder live - he was the perfect 6 am compliment to paco --- id love to see him stateside or at conference...great energy
