FAO: Women

What is your favorite cocktail?

I'm a pretty standard beer and vodka kinda bloke, so I have no knowledge or appreciation of other drinks. I want to learn a few cocktails for lubricating girls when I invite them over. Help a brother out. Giggity!

7 raspberries, plus extra to garnish
� lime
1 tsp sugar syrup
40 ml medium-bodied rum, such as Mount Gay
To serve: soda water, chilled

Appleberry
3 blackberries
2 raspberries
2 large red seedless grapes
60 ml cloudy apple juice
45 ml Cognac
10 ml lemon juice, or to taste
1 tsp caster sugar

Negroni
30 ml Campari
30 ml sweet (rosso) vermouth
50 ml gin

I've tried a Poinsettia before, that's champagne & cranberry, but with a dash of cointreau, that wasn't too bad.

95% of the time I go out I'm sober and drinking pineapple juice. The rare occasion I'm drinking, I'll have a single mimosa or a nice Belgian wheat beer.

Google "How to make cocktails". Everything you could possibly want is there.

For simplicity... vodka, orange juice and sangria. Malibu rum (not the coconut one) and iced tea (or any juice really).

Most liquor stores have pre-made girly drinks too.
