Need advise of teh wise and awesome C0r
So, I just listed a musical instrument on eBay and it sold in about 30 minutes and winning bidder already paid. Now, there's a newbie who immediately asked a question, by the time I saw it it already ended with buy it now. Newbie was registered only 3 days ago. He wants to offer $100 over the price it sold for to sell to him. What do I do, o wise and ethical COR?
Challenge: when I listed the item, I reduced the price and forgot to remove "free shipping". So, if I sell to winning bidder, I'm also eating $50 in shipping costs.
So, do I refund and say sorry there was error in listing or do I just eat it?Need advise.
You listed an item for 30 minutes? ebay fail.
Do what Ygrene would do.

I know it sucks but I think you must follow the rules, even though this is not the most profitable option any more. Besides, the winner already paid you for the synth.

Well if that was your "buy it now" asking price, then it's your bad for not asking for more. Can't go back now.
Sell to the guy who bought it.
Lesson learned for in the future.
I need to find an oboe for my bf for Christmas
I can't afford to buy him one right now... but I was thinking of renting one for like 3 months or something
he used to play in high school and won awards and stuff
he's been talking recently about getting back into it

no way
I want something good from a legit source with a new mouthpiece and proper reeds
not some dirty piece of shit from a bored high school band member lol
Something similar happened to me last week, and when I canceled on the original buyer I had already arranged to sell to, to go with a better offer, the person with the better offer flaked and I ended up back at square 1

I wasn't even cool enough for band.
No, but really, she's too fucking good for second-hand instruments she gets to inspect before even buyingrenting, has to ask someone for a more reputable source? A store. A fucking oboe store is obviously the answer.
I'm not upset, see, look at this:
I would not do anything until the matter was discussed in private with Swirk2008.
Oboes don't have mouthpieces...Also they're fucking expensive. Go used.
...But not used reeds
