Exclamation Zebra 2.5 released!

For those of you that have been following Urs' development on this update, it's finally official:

http://www.zebrasynth.com/

New features:

Looks like I need to start over on my patch bank.

For those of you who don't own Zebra, I highly recommend checking out the demo. Urs is one of the best, most communicative, and most gracious developers out there and Zebra is a monster synth.

Thanks for this info, I'm on it right now.

I've been playing around with it for the last few hours and Zebra 2.5 is killer! Zebrify is very cool - it's essentially an FX plugin version of Zebra, including most/all of the modules and effects. I can't believe it's a free update.

It is looking really cool. I'm watching tutorial videos right now.

Cheers

I never really got Zebra. I need my synths to be inspirational and I find Zebra a bit dead and cold. I can see why people rate it as a sound design tool though.

I find Predator (for example) to be far more inspirational and that can also be used as an FX insert (best synth 'verb out there imo) too. Has been able to do that for ages too.

YO,

Zebra is probably one of the best, if not the best synth around at the minute and the 2.5 upgrade is very welcome.

Comparing Predator to Zebra doesn't make sense. Predator is fixed architecture where Zebra is wireless modular. Its modular capabilities simply make Predator a far less synth in regards to capabilities and the modular way of Zebrify is astounding

dont get me wrong i love both synths and am using both in my new video course but you cant really compare the 2 as they are totally different.

Just eagerly awaiting the 64bit version now

thanks Urs.

Mark

I wasn't comparing the two in any way other than Pedator can also be used as an FX unit.

And the fact they both make noise.
