That's exactly what I did - during the first 5 minutes I was thinking "WTF is so impressive about this?!", then during the last 5 minutes I thought "ohhhhhhh....OK".

That said, I didn't see any production techniques in there that were very unique or difficult - it's more his knowing where, when, and how much of each processing technique to apply that really makes the final product. That's the part you don't learn from tutorials.

Cheers for that ! Enjoyed watching it.. I'm still playing this album in the car and sometimes I've always wondered how stuff was done with that..

so true! that's really what separates the men from the boys IMO.

Yeah, the main reason I posted was just because it was a good overview of hows tracks are ACTUALLY made. Its all about knowing how to balance stuff. I thought his very radical approach to EQ (EG, where he layered two of the same sample with different EQs) was interesting too.

And its fucking awesome.

Great post!

Love it when someone spent ages on something and it works a treat!

Props to that dude, excellent producer. Also proves how awesome Liam is. Especailly how he made some of the older tracks from the Experience album.

Agreed separates the men from the boys lol.
