Image-Line Harmless Additive Synth - $9...

...or more. You pay whatever you want until December 31st (with a minimum of $9). No joke. When you check out, it will be priced at $9, but you can change it to any price higher than that. And, the synth sounds pretty fantastic and is a breeze to program.

However, there are quite a few people having problems with the first release. It seems to be perfectly stable in FLS (from what I've read), but a lot of people on KVR (myself included) have had problems with: (1) the registration not working (so it runs in demo mode with annoying noise blasts every 10 seconds), (2) hanging notes, and (3) the synth crashing your DAW (in DAWs other than FLS). I experienced all 3 within the first few minutes of loading it. But, the developers chimed in and are on top of it, so I have no doubt that it will be good to go in no time.

Unfortunately, it's VST only.

Def getting this.
I love imageline their only downside is cpu heavy synths (sytrus, morphine, toxic, poizone etc) Hows harmless on cpu? I just got so many synths I dont use I think thats the only reason Id really use it.

For some reason it keeps crashing when I use it in FL. But I did manage to play around with it for a while and it was rather nice indeed. I'll give it a shot in Ableton.

I've never bought a synth before so at just $9 I'll probably be buying this. The interface seems very simple to use and the demo wasn't bad. Hopefully, it works in Ableton.

Heavy, added some Chords made on it to the mix - with native synth fx on them and an eq / classic delay and CPU jumped by 30%.

Nice sounds though, very grainy.
