It works..... sometimes..... its a total love hate relationship.

Thats the best I can describe it.

But the thing I like about steam is I can NEVER lose my games, can always redownload them. DRM done right if you ask me!

Easier said than done, it doesn't fucking work more than 50% of the time, lol.

It used to work like 1% of the time back when they first implemented it, it has gotten better but still sucks dick.

The first STALKER game is *definitely* worth $2. I can't comment on Clear Sky, but the original was creepy as hell and has a rather extensive modding community/replay value.

I go to alot of LAN parties, and we have learned to NEVER EVER rely on steam when there is no connection to the net.
