Sine Shaper? Parabolic Shaper?

What are these?
I found them in Massive , and hell it made my bassline sounded epic!!

But what are they and how do they work??

I'm pretty sure that they're just effects that add some amplitude modulation using sine and parabolic waveforms, respectively.
