Hallucinogen persisting perception disorder

I think I have HPPD. How fucked am I. Is the shit going to go away?

I still see shit...like walls moving and objects shifting from time to time.

I have vivid dreams and a lot of closed eyes visuals.

2c-e.

25mg.

The thing is...I dosed 2 weeks ago. Why am I still in a trip world.

Posted by itsamemario on Dec-24-2009 21:48:

ahh, 2c-e haha.. very potent stuff hehe.. not as insane as some of the 2c-t-'s tho... that shit was insane.. 25mg is a pretty nice dose too, more than that and shit can get very scary very quick lol..

anyhoo, it's been a good while since i ingested any hallucinogens (6+months) and I still have lots of hallucinations. Mostly just patterns and twirls, but also "ants" if you know what i mean. It's like you look at something, and every particle is moving and it almost looks like there are millions of invisible ants walking around :P

as far as i remember, ive been having it for at least a year now, it might be longer, it's been like 1,5 yrs++ since i stopped doing psychedelics regularly, but i still have some of the effects lasting. but u know, when i was at the "top of my game" i did like 2000+ g's of lsd-25 A DAY. so it's not really a big surprise that i have some lasting sideeffects or whatnot.

meh, im not really complaining..

How would you compare the 2c's with LSD? I find them somewhat similar visually. Although the 2c's give me a good body high...I would compare the 2c's to a candyflip.

I have permanent tracers on everything.

Lol...I've tried angel dust (pcp). However, I don't like psychedelics that cloud your control over the entire trip. Yes it was intense, but not as pleasurable as the 2c-e.

Dude is that Big Lurch? haha..

Big Lurch was found nakid tripping on PCP shortly after he murdered his GF by cutting open her chest and eating her lungs.

I have permanent tracers and that "tripping" feeling in my head, like I am bending the flow of space and time. Also anytime I look at anything it bends around and I see extensive geometric patterns in all textures.

I manage to function fine, even at meetings at work. Just don't let it get to your head...

By the way 2C-X family of drugs is NOTORIUS for causing HPPD. I just took a little bit too much acid

BIG LURCH LOL. PCP is gay shit....

Yea but I dunno what to think...

Cause id be like shit look at that wall! look at that apple! its so awesome...

Shortly after I'd be concerned if my brain is functioning correctly. No matter what research they might have about HPPD...you never know what it will bring to the table. Lets just say...I am experiencing a shit load of anxiety, exactly the same module of when I was trippin.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

Obligatory dune quote.

Im pretty sure I have worse problems than HPPD (I see people and hear things that are definitely not real)

It it up to you to deal with it, its your mind after all.

Wow! Thanks a lot for starting this thread. I'd been wondering what was wrong with me for years! I had no idea why mild hallucinations never fully went away, especially since there was no time in my life that I'd ever regularly done psychedelics. I didn't know there was an actual term for it. I'd just sort of accepted the fact that some psychedelics stay with you forever.

I have to say, personally, neither 2c, shrooms, MDA, or mescaline has ever zapped me completely out of this Universe the way really strong liquid-gel LSD has. Nothing like having strangers take pics of you on the train ride home as you sit in a corner muttering to yourself about infinity.

Anyway, try not to worry about it too much. Its been my experience that the more time passes, the milder the hallucinations get. It's been about 2 years since I first noticed mine wouldn't go away. They were noticeable enough in the spring time that i could actually just stop and watch the walls or floors flow at work whenever I got bored preparing legal docs and such. Doesn't happen anywhere near as readily nowadays though. Just give it some time. Also, sobriety helps

I believe the answer to my constant fear is right outside my window...but should I trust myself, my courage? or the essential law of gravity from a 25 floor building.

Yeah, COMPLETE sobriety helps reduce it. Very good advice. Smoking weed and drinking don't help at all either.
