Pointless Recommendation Thread #5078

So I've got two 20 hour roadtrips ahead of me in the next 6 days, a brand new ipod, and a lot of gigs to fill.

I know these threads are beaten to death, and I hate to do this, but we're leaving at 5am and some last minute sets / livesets / ta sets / whatever I can snag online last minute would be stupendous. I've already been scouring the DJ Promo section all day, and found some great stuff, but if anyone has anything sick to suggest I'd be very grateful.

Happy Holidays all, I'll probably delete this thread after all is said and done.

I've had it for a while I've just been purposefully non-active in the Promo section to save the sets for this trip.

I'm actually bringing a little notebook to take notes with so I can come back and write some coherent responses to everybody's mixes.

Of course I grabbed the SSS mixes woscar, who do you think I am? Downloading a lot of the recommended sets outta the Mixes of the year thread at the moment as well.

As for the W+L podcast... I gave it a chance with whoever did it last time and was thoroughly unimpressed. I'll give it another go though I suppose, for you.

Yeah, the last Wolf + Lamb episode wasn't all that great asides from some odd tracks that I hadn't heard in ages. The mixing was really subpar, even for the style of music being played.

The new Maayan Nidam episode is a nice mix of old school house, funk, hip-hop, jazz, disco and other eclectic stuff but mixed well.

We're doing the same thing this year, if anyones got any other suggestions for some awesome music go for it! It's very cold and snowy up there, so stuff that fits the mood is much appreciated.

Do you own Echospace - The Coldest Season? If not, it's the best winter-themed dance music album there probably is.
