Holiday Blues
Anyone else wishing they weren't back at work??? this sucks...
I hate that I got to work super early because I didn't realize there'd be no traffic..
I hate that it's minus a bajillion outside, and I would LOVE to still be in bed...
I hate that the office building is pretty much a ghost city since most people have this week off...
Thursday afternoon can't come soon enough!

I'm on holidays myself this week, but I feel your pain girl.
I went through this last week when everyone was still off work, it was cold and I was to work REALLY early every day; not having the traffic was fantastic!!!!
For sure. It sucks. At least working super early gives me the afternoons to do nothing but nap it off. Today and tomorrow then off until Sun. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
i went in to work yesterday morn only to remember its a holiday..def could have slept in nicely but i guess it made this morning a lot easier

Cant wait til I work, getting bored on almost a month vacay.
I have two very agressive mid-January deadlines that could define our company for the next year or two. Was at work yesterday for 11.5hrs. Hopefully can leave at 6pm on Thursday.
I'd go nutty staying home for any longer than the 4 days over Christmas anyway.
I love being at work this week. No one really expects much from you this week so we chill out and chat all day.
I am working but can work from home so it isn't too bad.
It is pretty slow so it gives me a little time to catch up on things that have fallen behind.
As much as I MUCH rather be curled up in my bed still I actually dont mind being here today...
No one is here so for once it is nice and quiet. I was able to sneak in late no problems. No one will bug me today. I will probably get more work done today than any other day. Take an extended lunch. Leave a little bit early... Plus it's my ideal work week: Work Tuesday-Thursday and get paid for the full five days
sucks to be me since I work a full day on NYE and everyone else is off at 1pm 
which means no proper lunch, and stuck with watching the phones
Awww Lars.
I'm loving this break. I can't even remember the last time I've slept in, or the last time I could just sit and watch TV without having anything to do.

I had the option to take the week off paid or work in at double time and a half, kinda regretting it now.
This extra inch of fat all over me is giving me the holiday blues, lol. Goddamn delicious Christmas treats. *shakes fist*

I was supposed to be off this week, because the rest of the shop is, but we got a rush job and myself and two other guys are here all week, and even over the weekends.
In all honesty, Im glad Im here. Too much time off makes me spend money I dont have. And Im getting double time and a half for working last monday, because monday was supposed to be the paid day off for last sat.
If I was at home right now, Id be eating cheese, chocolate, drinking and sleeping. Come a week later, getting to work would be more than difficult after a week of bad habits.
Its not so bad, I like it when its empty. I can surf all I want without the worry of boss seeing that Im not being productive, take a few extra smoke breaks here and there, and traffic to work in the morning is fucking awesome.

Im blue from the realization that another Christmas has come and gone.
Between Xmas and NYE is always the worst!
But now that my friends who were visiting from NC are gone (left yesterday), I'm actually of thinking of going into work this afternoon and tomorrow to put in some extra hours so that I wont mope around home wishing the holidays were like over...
And Cwood got hit with a massive snow storm yesterday... loving all the fresh beautiful snow that was blowing around... crazy whiteout weather... everything looks so "wintery" this morning
