US Flights

Anyone know any good travel sites for flights one way out of the US?

Can you believe these ridiculous new rules???

No carry on???

Wait till your flight is called before going through security???

Can't get out of your seat for the last hour of a flight????

And I'm going to Florida in Feb...

FAAAAACK!!!

Q: Do passengers need to do anything differently to prepare for checkpoint security procedures? Has anything changed in terms of what passengers can bring in their carry-on or checked bags?
A: At this time, security checkpoint requirements for passengers departing U.S. airports remain the same. Passengers do not need to do anything differently, but they may notice additional security measures at the airport.

That is for flights departing from the US and not Canada. There are stricter rules now in place for flights leaving from Canadian airports.

I am confused how they state that no carry on bags are allowed but you can bring a laptop. Does this mean you are allowed to bring it in a carry on backpack/laptop bag? I am assuming you can bring a bag for the laptop but nothing else can be in it other than the mentioned allowed items in the guidelines? It doesn't say anything about electronic devices so I am assuming that we can no longer listen to music on flights leaving from Canada?

In the war on terrorism, they seem to be edging ahead...

Isn't their whole point to disrupt our lives???

pearson is only useful for package trips to the carribean or london. Otherwise its usually better to go out of buffalo.

orbitz, travelocity, priceline

We looked into Buffalo to go to Ft Myers end of feb but the prices were only slightly cheaper with a ton of connections and having to drive to Buffalo...

It cost us 371 return from here with 1 connection both ways...

Buffalo isn't always better...

timely post, thread was getting hijacked

Expedia has some good deals too. As for the carry-on, I think you're only allowed just one carry-on.. I think before you could do one carry-on and purse/laptop/knapsack.

I'm going to Vegas for few days next weekend and I'll pack really light so I can shop, take advantage of the good exchange rate we have now, the Boxing week discounts and also the +48 hour duty free allowances. Retail and booze is so much cheaper there to begin with so time to stock up

thanks guys, i was able to get super savers from the american airlines website for $150 way there and $200 the way back, from toronto.

i have flown out of Buffalo a few times but getting back and having to drive and cross the border is the worst way to end a vacation.

The buffalo airport is really convenient though.
