so i stumbled upon this article bout music this last decade and im astounded by all these random genres thats been generated.

i mean what the fuck is crabcore? and fucking wonky moanwave trap rap??

right, been digging around and this is what i found:

crab-core?

wonkey?

juke music?

snap music? (this to me sounds like commercial rap/rnb music)

microhouse? (this actually sounds alright)

grindie?

thats all i found, i dunno if its musically correct but i think that microhouse is the only audially acceptable one out of the lot.

Crabcore is a joke genre made up by the community on Absolutepunk.net.

Some guy in the band Attack! Attack! was playing his guitar while sitting like a crab in one of their music videos and people blew it out of proportion.

Attack! Attack! is a post-hardcore band.

Crab + post-hardcore = crabcore.

riiight, it seemed a bit far-fetched that crabcore actually existed as a live genre.

Most of these are weird but

Folktronica is fair enough, how the hell is post metal not fair enough? Deathcore is always fun in moderate doses. What's wrong with dubstep?
