Marco V's Album...
I bought the sampler of Marco V's latest album.. con:fusion
it has some good tracks on it.. but to put the story straight..
they all sound the bloody same.. from start to finish.. and if to combine them in my mix.. it seem like i had used one 50 min track throughout...
exclude tracks godd & indicator but the rest
bad luck man........
does mp3 ring a bell...............lol
Well, that's doesn't surprise me at all...
I think Marco V is very badly stuck into his style, because all his songs really sound very same.. There's no new ideas
IMHO very booring nowadays
Anyway his DJ livesets are still awesome stuff
I just got his CD in the mail the other day, I was disappointed with CD 1. Most of the tracks are 3 minutes long! I was trying to support the artist, I guess I did.... but I was looking for more.

A shame about the short versions, but I think its a quite good album overall.. Not sure I will buy it tho...
Con:Fusion is a great album, but maybe you've got it wrong by expecting something different. Marco V's style is great. Take this by the Mutalisk track alone, not to mention the eternal "Godd" (which could be displayed in the 12" version of 7 min...) but essentialy this is great stuff. Different from the ordinay trance that TAs might be used, and I don't even call Marco V trance but, what ever he plays, it bangs real well for me!
yeah his livesets may be good, but if you buy a single collection by him, and thats the first stuff you'll hear from him, then you will not think he's any good...but if you hear one of his mixes...damn marco v rox!
