d ramirez, dj danielcast, and jennifer salazar- je taime - Bootleg

Found the acapella for this, kind of got into it, and decided to make a bootleg. Tell me what you think.

There's something quite dirty about this mix. And that's good.

Bassline isn't living up to expectations though I think. A bit of chorus and even a tiny bit of distortion would transform it into something delightful

well you see, the filter is almost all the way down, i liked how warm is felt down at the time. but it really has those qualities you're talking about when opened up, so i look forward to showing you.

have you guys heard the original of this tune? its a fucking bore

fuck, im so tempermental with tunes and i do this all the time. i'm listening to the original now, and i love it. very relaxing and groovy

Dude I fucking love it, esspecially the bass. Add a clap to give more snap to the snare. Also mess around with some other kicks, I feel like this one isnt working.

thanks, once again, spot on with the feedback.

something funny, i had a higher end clap that i was using and accidently had it muted in the render, hear it now, nice and filled. changed the kick, this kick is muuuuch more suitable. banginnnnnnnnn

hope u enjoy sako... finished it pretty much

"Identified" the problem with the bassline. Im using Ableton's MIDI effect, the arpeggiator, with a heavy gate. The MIDI notes are kind of played on top of each other, but the "glide" in Trilogy glides them, instead of playing them all at once. I think i can manually go in and put the bassnotes a bit ahead of time, since once it gets hit by that arpeggiator, the groove on there sets it back too much in time. stay tuned for the updated work. =]
