Does anyone else have problems with Beatport denying their credit cards?

I'm trying to buy a track and it won't take my credit card, even though the bills are paid and all the info is correct.

I've had this problem a couple times before...it's like Beatport doesn't want my money. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Anyone else run into this problem before?

Happened to me a few years ago. I just opened a new account and everything has worked perfectly ever since.

Yes, it has been happening to me. It works ok when I use Paypal though.

It has happened a few times to me, but a simple logout/login has always fixed it.

I stopped using beatport when they stopped accepting my old type of bank card. Since then I have very happily been using trackitdown.net which may not be perfect but it is British run and I've had no problems with issues coming up over imperfect track rips etc.

Yeah, a couple tracks I have got from beatport have crackling / pops in them. Where is the quality control

I do like beatports huge selection though.

it did , and what I did is just reinsert all the details of my credit card again and then it worked fine .

You misunderstand what I said then. I meant that if I come across something bad on tid, they're quick to offer a remedy to the matter and seem a lot more personal than the blandness of what beatport was last time I even looked there.

Oh I know, have done it before.

One time I got the artist (Tritonal) to give me .wavs for my troubles

the quality problem is more of a label issue than a beatport issue anyways.

mastering is not a term understood very well, especially with many mp3 only labels.

Seems like everyone is obsessed on maxing out compression in an all out loudness war...

fucking lame.

Why don't you insert headroom in the tracks and put a nice volume progression yourself with a compressor?

I only use paypal via beatport now because I was getting declined cards every time I would go to purchase ever since the new beatport came out.
