Adderall - What's the scoop?

I find it pretty amazing this drug is easily prescribed for people with ADHD
I don't know to much about this prescription drug, but it releases dopamine in the brain

I also know a lot of people in college use this drug very consistently

Anyone got interesting stories about this drug? Abuse, how addictive it may be, especially compared to a let's say an MDMA capsule

I only take it if I have to drive a long distance. It helps keep me awake.

i wish it were available in my country

what exactly does adderall do?

It also acts as a placebo for parents thinking their dud, stupid children will accomplish something academically via a better life with chemistry

if insufflated in high enough doses, the comedown is the fucking WORST. i tend to get sketchy after a certain dosage; the good feelings disappear and then i'm just.. cracked out. not personally a fan.

You basically become a machine when you study for a test on aderall

I had a doctor give me a free sample pack once before I had my midterms. I'm pretty sure that was really illegal.

NO joke dude. i snorted a line of it once. it fucking burned and tasted like shit (saccharine/aspartame). plus it killed my buzz

Snorted it once before a night of partying with some college mates. Wasn't impressed. Then again I find most drugs stupid.

i know a lot of people who are stuck on this shit. i hate it. it makes me feel weird and kills my buzz. it also gives me crazy body aches afterwards, which makes sense, it's methamphetamine. it's definitely the med school drug of choice now. i can't believe how many people who are out of school pay $10/30mg for it gray market rather than weaseling an rx of their own out of a doctor. a friend of mine gets a 90 x 30mg rx for the stuff every month, which is just a comical amount. suffice to say he makes a lot of money off it. 2 wmcs ago we ran out of e and started popping his adderall rx for the last stretch of our binge and it was so fucking awful.

no, it's not. it's a combination of amphetamine salts. rx methamphetamine is sold under the trade name desoxyn.

Wow, I am shocked about how many of you don't like adderall. I personally love it, when used in moderation. I take between 20-60mg (usually 40). Bad thing about it is you lose your appetite (obviously). Great drug to give you energy/help you focus on whatever your doing. I prefer the salts better than xr's. Yes the comedown kinda sucks, but you can help that with some good ol fashioned mj :0

it's worthless.

there's two kinds. the first is the time release. (if not crushed up and snorted, lol). you eat these pills and they dissolve over some period of time, giving you a nice steady dose of the "goods" - these are perfect for studying, they'll keep you alert but not fucked up.

the second i tried were some generic off-brand that basically just hit you full force. i was gonna start with one, a friend convinced me to take 3. there was a slight body buzz, and the kind of alertness you'd associate with coke (though nearly not as fun). and then i threw up a bunch of orange shit (the pills were orange) all over his couch.

i don't understand why kids fuck with this when you can just as easily get yourself a G of coke and have way more fun with it.

If you mean you become very efficient, yes. Beyond that, I find that Ritalin makes me feel like a emotionless machine, and Adderall makes me more emotionally aware if anything.

I've taken it for years and have snorted it maybe twice. Hated it both times. I think people just do it thinking it makes it more intense, but it really destroys the feeling imo.

The orange ones are 30 mgs each as far as I've seen, so if a friend of yours told you to do a 90 mg dose for your first experience, which is completely ridiculous, I'd smack the fuck out of him. Imagine snorting an 8 ball of coke all at once your first time. Would you like it? Course not.

No drug works for everyone. The process of prescribing a drug for ADD/ADHD is trial and error, which just tells you some drugs work for some people, but not for others with the exact same symptoms.

Yes very efficient indeed, i remember when i took my boards , sitting down on my chair for 14 hours straight and maybe had 1/2 hour break in between and feeling extremely happy about life with a bit of an emotional euphoric rush.

I wrote a 30 page paper in one night on a bunch of Adderall with very little research beforehand. I got an A+ and the teacher asked to use it as a model for future classes.
