What genres / artists do you consider to be currently at the forefront of putting out non overproduced flashy formula music (but not also being mnml hipster fgts)

I get bored really fast, and the HHC was more for a friend than me. And to my knowledge I don't think anyone else has posted a similar thread...

I am interested in anything and everything that isn't the same old thing re arranged and regurgitated. New styles, sounds, original fusion of genres, etc.

Basically the exact opposite of uplifting trance production wise

I hope your friend then has enough info to enjoy it for a while. I don't mind a HHC thread, because I used to listen it a lot. HHC really brought some happy feelings

On topic, I have the single in your avatar next to Remember and three of Flaming June. Even bought a cd once just for Godspeed. Says enough I guess.

I am enjoying the HHC also

The first time I listened to Mercury and Solace I thought it sucked, LOL. But after a few listens, I realized that it is so much better than most of the shit I listen to.... I am so damn tired of electro house and uplifting trance... But I did it to myself, only I am to blame.
