I need to find a new TV show to watch...
Coldest month of the winter has begun.
I need to indulge in a new TV series marathon...
To give you an idea, I've seen and I liked:
Six Feet Under
The Sopranos
Dexter
Heroes
Lost
Greys Anatomy
Dirty Sexy Money
Entourage
Any suggestions?
Frasier
Big Bang Theory's kinda funny...I discovered that while on a plane of all places.
*waits for 'Haus to chime in about Hills Season 6*

wtf you already finished sopranos?? geez.
Check out Rome for sure.
How about Curb Your Enthusiasm, if you're into Seinfeld type of humour.

sorry for tha caps.
Almost forgot the best comedy ever, "its always sunny in philadelphia"
ninja
If you want to get sucked into a story, The Wire is the way to go. I haven't seen The Sopranos myself, but my friends who have say The Wire wrecks it. You'll be sucked in so deep, you'll be seeing signs of spring before you know it.

family guy? really?
i don't even like south park, but in the episode where they "expose" how family guy is written is just awesome.
"remember that time when i was toasting marshmallows with *insert 80's icon here* and *insert random shit that makes no sense and is not really funny.*"
I can't stand South Park, but I have heard about that episode. I thought it was funny what they said about it, but Family Guy gets away with the edgiest shit I've ever seen.
One more recommendation, Arrested Development. It's criminal how little support that show got. Took me a while to get into it, but really glad a friend of mine pushed it on me.
Whoever came up with Bob Lawblaw's Law Blog should be in some sort of hall of fame.
What happened to making good shows with an actual plotline... Like Lost or Prison Break....
Lost first Season was really good, as well as Prison break, and the others are bearable to watch...
I like series that get you sucked into them so you are stuck watching Seasons until you are all done) What happened to these??? -_-
Breaking bad is another good one, 24 was good but got repetitive towards the last season(Jack will always win and never dies)
Have you seen The Wire? It's often referred to as the best written American television show ever made. If you want an engrossing story, check it out.
As for Lost, it has it's ups and downs. I've stuck with it the whole way, but honestly won't miss it all that much when it ends this year.
Side note, Lost would never have existed if Twin Peaks hadn't paved the way.
I have seen one episode of the wire, and I have to be honest, there is just nothing that grabs your attention, there is nothing out of the ordinary, no huge conspiracy... It didnt grab my attention so I didnt want to watch episode 2
I completely know where you're coming from. I actually didn't get into it for the first several episodes. It took a bit, but that's just because they are laying the seeds for multiple story lines. It takes a little effort at first, but all I can tell you is it more than pays off in the end.

I've tried to like South Park on several occasions and given it a fair shot. I like how they approach issues and look at them through different angles, but I just don't find it as funny.
HBO: The Wire
USA Network: Burn Notice
Thing is you have to start from Season 1 to sort of figure out whats been going on.
How about The Big Bang Theory thats on CBS.
