Sultan - "the" set at Sunburn festival, Goa
Not too many people had heard of him in India... but his set's been touted as "the" set at Sunburn. He played day 1... the sunset slot 6-8pm and delivered some solid tech-house.
Here's short video uploaded by Greg Pidc**k on FB

Everyone was very impressed with his skills (he's not just a producer who can DJ)... and most impressed with what a nice guy he is.
Sounds good, anyway to get the full set?
lmao Greg Pidcock got hit by the swear filter
naw, he does it himself as a type of marketing thing.
Here's a nice video of Sultan from the festival (track ID?)

This is what the venue looked like during the day - Norman Doray playing an unreleased cover of a Chicane tune

And this is another video of DJ Pearl playing a MAD tech-house tune

Missed this... was only at Sunburn on Day 3 for Armin.
Great work Nikhil on another successful event!
That sounded like music that would promptly send me to the exit.
Sultan's "tech-house" is nowhere near "solid".

for me its really sad to see how his style has changed over the past 2 years! from lush progressive house to this tech house style! not a good evolution in my oppinion!

Irrespective of what's "solid" and the exact definition of what the "tech house sound" is - he played a set that everyone enjoyed. |
