The broadcast was amazing guys, thanks to the #trancefamily people on twitter for tuning in. Thanks for the people that sent requests in as well. After many long hours of work on this mix, I am ready to release this baby to everyone.

I don't mean to be a **** but there's no worse way to alienate listeners, fans and especially your fellow artists by copying the most successful trance artist of all time.

Personally I'm not even going to listen because the idea behind this and Armin/shane54 etc mixes like this demeans the music included, imo.

WoW that was just great... It tops armin's yearmix.. by miles!

It has everything in place really great smooth transitions, nice mashups and a great flow. lots of tracks feel fresh and different. great job, You must have spend hours and hours on it!

Negatives:
there are rarely any imo but if i need to name a few:
It got loads of vocal tracks which can be little boring imo (that's just my personal taste). However you reduced the boringness to the absolute minimum by mixing tight and mash them up with better progressive like tracks.

The last 20 minutes feel at some part a little bit rushed (like the spaceman track into man on the run) but apart from that the mix is great
9.5/10

You gotta like these mega mix kinda sets, but if you do check this one out i'd say!

Oh and mfitterer1: I would have agreed with you if the mix would be exact like armins, but it isn't. it's better!
Imo misfire was quite original how he mixed some tracks together. It might be not your cup of tea but i wouldn't say he alienate listeners, Armin alienates more with is dull mixing. imo

you know what? even if i am not into trance at all i will check this purely because of the way it is mixed.

It always made me laugh that trance seems to be one of those genres in which djs tend to play 6 or 7 tracks in a hour, which bores the piss out of me.

your megamixes are always quality, and this one definitely is one of the better 'year' mixes. i'm still jamming out to the two megamixes myon & shane54 did this year, i'm sure this one will be repeatedly played alongside them.

So I listened to this again in the car yesterday and I have to say, I think i enjoyed this better than Armin's Yearmix. What a gem... I mean it's too bad more people won't know about this... it almost deserves an album release IMO.
