More bad press for Space

http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/01/07...eath/index.html

Nothing good seems to come out of there anymore.

wow

Mother of God!

Any person that committed this atrocity does not deserve to live! This lady was someone's girlfriend, someone's sister, someone's daughter! That's no way to die!

This kind of story sickens me to the core! I hope whoever committed this crime gets death penalty!

Smile Tongue

Let me buy the WMC Fuck You pass and all is forgotten @ Space!

i think i read somwhere that she and her boyfriend didnt have a good relationship. In fact, he was violent sometimes. Not sure if im correct on this but yeah. Just because they were at Space that night shouldn't mean a lot. Let's wait and see.

i cant see how this is somehow bad press for space. they went there. ok, nothing happened inside the club such as a stabbing or anything like that. what happened to this poor girl is absolutely horrific but to say this will add to more bad press for the club i think is off.

Posted by planbrad on Jan-08-2010 16:40:

foxnews reporting today that the lady sometimes feared for her life with the guy.

he must of waited outside space after he got kicked out until she left the club?

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Jan-08-2010 22:34:

damn. that is fuking horrible.

I feel for her family. The boyfriend is going at odd lengths to make himself seem "innocent" but who the fuk knows?

That is terrible. Her body was so badly burned... they had to go through dental records? eesh.

Posted by FallingMoon on Jan-09-2010 02:07:

I dunno her boyfriend doesn't sound too innocent. They got into an argument, he was thrown out and she decided to stay?

He just went back to the hotel to sleep like NOTHING?
Highly fuking doubtful...he was probably angry as fuk, waiting for her and something went down.

Burning a body is going to the extent that you don't want evidence, almost like wanting to make the body disappear. Sounds more like a crime of passion just like the Canadian asshole who chopped off that model's hands, feet, pulled out her teeth, etc. they had to identify her by the serial number on her breast implant

That's horrific I feel for her family.

if a place has numerous stories of it dealing with murders/drugs/violent crimes/etc, then it must be great publicity and have people wanting to go?

I'm just saying if I was an out of towner and read numerous stories such as these, even if they all happened outside of the club, I'd still feel a bit weary of the area it's in and the crowd it attracts.

Posted by PatMcGroin on Jan-09-2010 06:41:

gotta be careful. people think its all fun and games and its not. watch the fuck out cuz you never know what could happen.

Posted by KiNeTiC ENeRgY on Jan-09-2010 07:21:

Still not bad press for Space.

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Jan-09-2010 07:33:

dude. look @ metropolis. but then again those shootings went down @ the club... not after leaving the club.

Posted by Nerologic on Jan-09-2010 21:10:

Wow crazy story.

He also broke her noes:

http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2010/0...ry6072936.shtml

Dude looks totally guilty, they might not be calling him a person of interest yet until they have enough proof to through the book at him.

But then again some creep could have drugged her and rapped her and then killed her?

You just never know.

I will still be at Space for the Subliminal Sessions party in WMC though.

Posted by trancension on Jan-09-2010 22:42:

I read an article saying the boyfriend is a person of interest, not a suspect yet. That article said the police were able to determine when he left the club and when he arrived at his hotel. The article also says the victim sent text messages saying the boyfriend was trying to kill her.

quote:
North Miami Police spokesman Lt. Neal Cuevas told FoxNews.com that they have confirmed when and how Klym got home that night.

quote:
Police are investigating a text message Paula Sladewski sent to an ex claiming that her current boyfriend was "trying to kill" her, FoxNews.com reports.

Very bizarre story to say the least...

What the fuck is wrong with people now a days? Jesus fucking Christ. And isn't it kinda sketchy how her and her bf got into an argument, then he got kicked out and it happened after she left the club? Maybe he was waiting for her outside.

Would a "+1" here be dick?

Posted by elgato on Jan-10-2010 18:17:

Wow that is horrendous! As stated before, not really sure how this is bad press for Space, it could of happened at any club.

She was seen leaving the club with a guy.. So there's a definite possibility that the boyfriend didn't kill her but some other random psycho she met inside space. Definitely bad press, and definitely scary in my mind. I was going to go there next Saturday.. second thoughts about it now...

go. nothings gonna happen. just dont be an idiot.

Posted by MJM74 on Jan-11-2010 04:14:

Folks... Its not Space's fault & I'm not trying to defend Space in any way.

Think about it...

It could've happened at Cameo, Mango's, Ultra during WMC or any other place in Miami during anytime of the year. So if it would've happened anywhere else that you would go to would you not go anymore to that place?

For that you should say I'm not going anymore to Space since the seasunz incident.

It's an unfortunate event that did not even happen inside the club. If it did I could almost guarantee you Space would def get bad press.

that's what I meant by bad press. the news isn't attacking space at all or no one is blaming the club... but more and more news like this could lead to people outside of miami to think along the lines of "let's stick to clubbing in miami beach... clubs in downtown are more dangerous."

like pat said, it's really not that bad, as long as you have common sense. trashed girls walking alone outside or going home with strangers could easily lead to trouble.

Exactly. That's what I meant in my original post. Just having the club associated with this news story is bad press.
