Note, this is 256kbps quality, 74minute non-stop mix, zipped with winace. File size is just less than 480MB, so you need a fast connection.
Tracklisting is on my site (click banner below) in the radio section at the bottom.
Feedback always welcome (and yes I know I have dropped one of the mixes slightly).
480mb!!?? That is ridiculous.
I thought people wanted high quality mixes?
I could put up a 56kbps mix as well which is much much smaller (about 70MB)
160kbps would be great
can you post a tracklist, please?
Tracklisting is on the site, but here's a quick copy paste job

Really annoyed I forgot to include a couple of bits that were hidden under my mountains of vinyl, have to put them in the next mix.
is is 400+mb because you saved it as a wav file?
i suggest you record it then save as an mp3 witch takes it to about 60mb ish!
Think so yes.
Surely by saving it as an MP3 and naturally compressing it, some of the quality will be lost. this is why I didn't convert it to mp3.
i couldnt notice it with my mixes?
what programm do you use to record, encode, burn etcc?
Use cool edit pro to read the CD's and save them. Tend to record from dex to MD then digital link to CD burner (not through PC sound card as you lose quality unless you've got a seriously good sound card), load in CD drive and read.
Was using audiograbber but can only encode up to 56kbps.
Any recommendations
thats prob better than mine
i only got soundblaster live 5.1 so i go from the decks straight into the pc
i use Steinberg Wavelab 4.0
its a good prob cause you can record encode save as differnt files but the best thing is it has its own burning app within the program! so u can do it all in wavelab
y not use goldwave
simple easy reliable prog
I'm using Cool Edit Pro to produce voice-overs/adverts for my station. Can goldwave do that, also can it encode at 256kbps?
Finally is it expensive, and have you got a url link for it please
tks in advance.
There's no point in archiving mp3 files...
