It feels strange that I'm younger than most of the students in the COR, but I'm a graduate so I feel old listening to you talk about classes and exams.

Nope. I had no gap year and no placement year, so I had three years of university from 18 to 21 and graduated this summer. It might be the case that the UK education system allows you to graduate earlier than in other countries, but Jackson appears to be a Brit and yet he's still at university at 23*.

*EDIT.

stupid management "sensitivity" training. It is like getting fucked in the ass by a stick with barbed wire, but at least it means i don't have to do real work on Thursdays for 3 more weeks.

1. Energy Management
2. Intro to Engineering Tribology
3. Research

I aiming at a 3.5gpa with these classes, shouldn't be an obstacle, but drugs are always a hump.

You're assuming people are *still* in school, when perhaps they just didn't go right after HS, or are in grad school.

There is no "high school" in the UK. You finish compulsory education at 16, do sixth form until 18 and then university.

No I'm not, because I accounted for gap years in the very post you quoted. I went to uni with many people who'd taken years out, and I'm not passing judgement on anything. It just feels strange to hear people I consider my elders talking about things that are in my past. I've been in education for as long as I can remember, so the realisation I'll never sit another exam, write another essay or start a new term is a weird one.
