SF TA in LA for MLK!! Where should I go?

I'll be flying in on Friday, and actually never been to a decent EDM club in LA.

Got any suggestions?

Thank you for any help!

YES! Come to Incognito @ King King for Fairmont (Border Community) on Friday night!!!

A lot of us will be there!

All the info for it is on this thread:

And go to Avalon for Laidback Luke Saturday night. Or Circus if you are more into trance.

Second that! Seriously, I almost went to LA JUST to see Luke. Also, Radio Slave is there as well. I can't believe Luke isn't showing SF any love this year.

Blank & Jones this Saturday at Circus, which is a very laidback club. Virtually no dress code there... tennis shoes, tshirts, hats are all ok.

Circus link

Usually there is a TA meetup ~11pm on the outside patio near the food trailer. Look for Malia (the gal with the hoola hoop)... she'll show you where to go.

My girl is more into house, not so proggy , more tribal funk. I like it all, yet nu disco and electro clash are my current favs.
I've seen Blank & Jones too many times in SF, so that is a no go. Never seen Luke.

Any other suggestions?

Go to Circus on Saturday. My friend Angie is go-go dancing and it is her birthday. It won't matter who is playing. She will be the main STAR up on stage.

Also, I think Larissa is dancing too. You can't go wrong with them up on stage and Blank & Jones headlining.

I'm pictured here with Angie and Larissa is just to the left. The pictures don't even do them justice. They are much hotter in person and know how to dance.

All of the events above are great, but now the hard part is choosing which to go to!

Two fellow TA's are celebrating their bday sets on at INCOGNITO...Bernard Thomas and Brian Scott!

Jim, that's just not fair; how is someone supposed to think clearly and determine which show's music will be the breast? errr...best.

incognito it is! hope it rocks like we do in The Bay!

You should go to EM Sundays today. 2pm to midnight. It is like LA's version of The End Up but slightly more wild. I'm spinning at 8pm. Mention my name for discounted $5 entry. $10 w/out.

Thanks to all the LA TA's that recommended this night!

Fairmont was uniquely entertaining.

King King is a small yet intimate, family/clique sort of venue.

The guy bartenders all water down their drinks, yet the tall brunette made every drink mighty fine!!

The clientele were cordial and fun to converse with.

Yet, for the price, I'll choose the Bay's finest clubs any day over a shoddy warehouse with only one room and a uneven dance floor.

San Francisco is truly blessed with some of the great venues, superb sound systems, and prolific djs, all for a great value.
