Morning Sickness not the pregancy sort".
I thought I would share my dilemma with you chaps. I as far as i know have reflux or so i have been told. I wake up in the morning and start to cough and then i dry reach or be sick. the dilemma is that i am fine if I lay in bed but as soon as i get up it occurs.
Now i was recently overseas for 6 months, and I didnt have the problem at all up and till in the last 3 weeks or so of my returning it started to come back. then since being back in australia i have had it, and I had it previously before i left on my holiday.
I really have no idea what causes it, Dr's have given me antacid med's, did ulcer test nada etc, one Dr has mentioned it's psychological that i have some issue lol which i have many.
Does anyone experience something similar or the same. any thoughts greatly appreciated. im sure a doctor floats around in here somewhere..! As, i am at a wits end on this.
thanks
Well did you take a pregnancy test or not?
Woooops, i am a male.

No need to be sexist. Just peeeeeeeeeeeee.
Maybe you have an ear infection.
God i love the sense of humor in this place.. Ear infection?
my ears feel fine unless its something that goes on unnoticed. I had it for a long time even prior to me going overseas.
and Pee, yes well it seems to make it worse after I go the toilet. I figure that over night my stomach gets air init, as one of the valves which i hav been told doesnt close off prop. so toilet releases bladder, pressure back on stomach, sick.
yep..
thanks for the input
I wasn't kidding.

Nothing to worry about, sounds like the early stages of terminal cancer

Jennypie and Neophono are probably the only TA's that can help you, Energy_3. She's a nurse and he's a doctor
However, I'm also the resident South American smart-arse, so I'd like to tell you I think it's lupus.
I just don't really understand what he's saying. So he's actually been diagnosed with something? If it's a faulty sphincter, like he said, his symptoms don't sound unusual. Sounds like GERD.
I will head to the Dr's today again, and mention an ear infection. Coz its a pain in the ass getting up every morning with this.
must be lupus

Does your doctor think it's bacterial then if you were overseas? Have you done a blood test?
Also, how much do you weigh and have you recently put on weight? Reflux can often be cured simply by losing weight, even though you are taking Nexium which makes my company money so maybe I shouldn't tell you that
Well that makes even more sense, because I think GERD tends to be genetic. An endoscopy is not enough to diagnose.

I mean, it might not even be that...to be honest the GI system is one of my weaker points of knowledge.
Living in Australia = morning sickness. Makes sense to me.

Are you on hormone replacement therapy? Strange question, but seriously.
