Pioneer HDJ-2000

Hello everyone. I intend to buy Pioneer HDJ-2000.
Before I buy them, I would like to hear your opinion about headphones.
Something like review. Why they are good and why they are not...
Thank you very much. Best regards from Serbia and Montenegro.

Save your money. These things might be good, but they're way overpriced.

I would definitely recommend the Technics RPDH1200 over those. I think the Pio HDJs are great but definitely not at the greatness for that price point.

Also, plenty of other awesome DJ headphones out there. I'm using the Sony MDR7506's which I'm not too excited about. There are some nice ultrasones I've seen somewhere...definitely keep looking around and visit a store to try them in advance!

I own the HDJ1000's and the technics rp-dh1200. If we compare the hdj1000's to the 2000's you will find that the 2000's don't grip as hard on your head like the 1000's/ The sound in the 2000's is great and also they have a removable cord like the technics rp-dh1200. Which is awesome in case the cable starts breaking on you.

If you compare the technics with the 2000's you will see that the 2000's are lighter in weight and smaller on the head since the technics are massive.

Plus you can put a soldering iron on a set of 2000 and nothing will happen because they're made of space age titanium!

lol that asshole with the soldering iron

Guys what do you think between sennheiser hd 25 and hdj 2000? Many DJs have told me that it is better to buy sennheiser hd 25, but I want to hear more opinions.

save your $ and get get the 1000s...i personally like the audio-technica and they are the same price as the 1000s

Headphones are too much a personal preference anymore. The shape of your head, ears, etc. plays a huge roll in the sound quality, so u need to hit a music store and try them all on yourself and see what works better for YOU.

I already have them. Cable is damaged and they cracked on the wrist a little (after year and a half of constant work).

HD 25 are your best bet. Not too over priced and sound amazing. I've used the technics and the Pioneer HDJ 1000 and they didn't sound anywhere near as good as the HD 25's. Not had a chance to use the 2000's but i doubt there worth the amount they're charging for them.

That's true, but unfortunately not everyone get's stores that have everything on display.
I personally did not like how light and small the hd 25's are. The way they feel on my head and how they move was just not my thing. The sound was great
