Going to NYC the weekend of the 12-15th
My godmother lives just outside of Manhattan, which is where we'll be staying, and I've been to NY many times, but never clubbing.
Any suggestions?

Greenhouse. I was there a few weeks ago and thought it was pretty impressive. Musically it's nothing special but the decor is worth checking out.

Love. Sound is amazing in there, cool little place.

^^yeah Greenhouse is brand new, it used to be Shelter and looked totally different!


Big clubs: M2 (mansion 2), Pacha, Webster Hall

Smaller clubs: Santos, Greenhouse, Sullivan Room, Love, Cielo (MY FAV!)

Warehouse parties: Bunker parties, BlackMarket parties (which are secret parties, with secret locations, but they have the probably most memorable techno parties in NYC....They also had Sasha do one a few months ago)


and a ton of other large spaces that do select larger parties, like Nokia Theatre, Hammerstain, Roseland----------> these places are for people like Tiesto, Armin, ATB, etc....any huge party that Pacha cant hold.

If you like Fraggle Rock, go to Love!

Also Cielo is a great great club.

haha I was just going to ask when you went, but you answered my question. Yes, new management. They tore out Fraggle Rock and are doing some other changes as we speak. I will report back on how the other changes go, but I know that FR room looks like ass right now.

1 OAK is REALLY nice.

Greenhouse is a beautiful place, worth checking out as well.

How recent is this? Glad to know I saw it in Nov before that happened...hilarious little room. I hope they keep the sound system in there, so awesome.

lol ya I definitely would not have gone without you. That makes me so sad. I've gotten so many texts from ppl who were there saying how I would love the FR room

very recently. Recently enough that I have not actually seen the changes with my own eyes, but people put up pics from events. Now it looks like a big grey room with no cushions or anything. The sound system is the best part, so they arent changing that!

Great little underground club, but it wont be the same without FR (alhough some people are happy bc the shit that went on in the FR was certainly unsanitary! LMAO!!)

nah but seriously, i liked the fragle rock room for a chill out spot when the main room got too packed and hot, like you would climp into a lil hole and put your feet out and relax for a few

now i hear the new seats are madd narrow and not comfortable at all

i think Chris Lake is at Cielo on the 14th
