would you call the police?

One of my best friends employees just circulated this poem around the office. I suggested he call the police, because it looks fairly self-explanatory to me!

quote:

Stranded in darkness I stand,
Alone and tormented,
Seven who have dared to torment,
Seven to reap what they have sowed.

Three more to come,
Three who will dare to try,
Where seven have failed,
To bind me against my will.

Where bribes have failed.
Lies and deception they weave.
In the hope that those around me,
continue to do as they please.

A truth that I know.
A truth that I can't speak.
A truth that needs to be told.

When you perceive that a network surrounds you and only you and that no one around you can talk to you about it. It becomes one of the most loneliest experiences, in a sense, a darkness. The greatest problem I found is that I'm afraid to speak about it, out loud. My other fears are of a life bind to a society and a government that I don't want to be bound to. Since it's only perception, there is no proof to what I've written, no certainty, only some doubt.

However if I am right, what I need, what I long for, is not only the destruction of the network, but to also have all my liberties restored.

That just reads like someone preparing to go postal imo.

Yeah, definitely weird as fuck. I'd call the cops if it were one of my employees.

I would call an English professor. Maybe with a little luck he'll be able to help him improve his proses.

its poetry
you dont even know if thats how HE feels.

real artist dont worry about how they feel they write about how someone else may feel in a certain situation.

perception is a wonderful thing

Why the fuck would you considering calling the cops over a poem????

Posted by infiniteJEST on Jan-18-2010 23:03:

It's clearly an analysis of Wienerschnitzel's 2 for $3 deal.

Yeah, you should wait until after the massacre to call them.

********'s "fate of trance" post was the best piece of poetry I've read since Pound's "In A Station of the Metro".

This, however, is just shit emo-poetry. If this kind of crap were evidence of homocidal thoughts, there'd be a school shooting every Monday.

and meditate closely waiting for a voice from above to guide me, and not tell the doctor what I am doing or why.

Police wont do shit except be confused. Good luck trying to explain to some cop how this poem means the guy is going to go postal. They probably wont even understand it and if you're lucky and one does well good luck to him trying to explain it to other cops.

At least tell us where so I'm not on the 'passers just innocently walking by' nightly news.
