Oh damn, I knew I saw his name recently on a flier . Well I was with Robtronik that night, supporting him and Andre @ Roosevelt.

I saw Guy Gerber a while ago, but it was a buzzkill for me that night, for reasons that I don't want to mention lol

saw him on NYE and wasnt impressed. I also have a couple of his livesets and liked what ive heard, but what he played on NYE was crap. I also wasnt aware that he only plays "live" which im not a big fan of artists that do so

Guy Gerber's especially. He's absolute fire.

I NEED to hear what he's doing for Diddy

if we're lucky he'll be back in california six months from now, but he was just here earlier this month. i must say one of the sickest live sets i've heard by anyone in a long ass time. kontrol's january party at endup was about as perfect as a party could get. the programming from openers to headliners to closers, with the crowd that came, the night unfolded so beautifully with gerber undoubtedly at the center of it all. i forewent a 5.5 hour digweed set at ruby that same night for guy gerber's live sf premier and while it wasn't an easy decision, i can't say i regret it. he's definitely at the top of my list to look out for in 2010...

He'll be back soon. He is making some really great music right now.

Saw him on the Island at the WLS closing. Top set.

I thought Gerber was BADASS @ Avalon! His set was icing on the cake after Lawler and Sander. In fact, I enjoyed Gerber's set as much as Sander's (Lawler was okay). Gerber dropped some amazing hypnotic/haunting tracks the first half hour of his set

not that it's what you meant in the original question, but i think he's still here right now. not playing anymore shows though.

Lets do an after party and have him play at Matt's house!

What set did you hear?

I thought Sanders set was HORRIBLE (and i wasnt the only one) and Lawlers was WAY better.

The last time Sander K was actually good, was in like 2006. Such a shame, cuz he rocked back then.

I would have to agree. I was looking forward to his set because he did put on a good show when i saw him down here in SD a few years ago. But his set had no rhythm at all. He would start playing some good tracks and then shit the bed with some horrible cheesy break beat track. Then he would get in the flow again and drop some shitty vocal track just ruining the vibe. He looked pretty wasted behind the decks, I am pretty sure that had something to do with it.
