KTU is such shit....

they play out every track beyond beleif and think they are at for-front of the scene....

this is what they played last week:

65 Times:ays Go By :irty Vegas ::Capitol
50 Times:: Rapture :: Iio :: Universal
37 Times:: The Sound of Goodbye :: Perpetuous Dreamer ::Nervous
15 Times::Will I:: Ian Van Dahl:: Robbins

LOL....those tracks are so freaking old...

the reason i am pissed it cus i see these fake girls with all their makeup heading into Factory or Exit and these Juicer dudes with their little sisters black t-shirts on drinking their gay ass protein shakes listening to this acting like they are "DOWN" with the trance scene...even though they all think its techno or house...

I mean i dont like those tracks anymore..but its jus the principle of it...

I am surprised they havent played Southren Sun or Mindcircus to death yet...but it will happen soon enough...

ok sorry for ranting...it jus gets on my nerves when i play a track like Ralphie B - Massive or Sonorous - Second Sun while at a gas station getting gas and these same chics and juicers homo guys look at me like i listen to shitty music and mimic dancing liquid to it...like mocking it i guess....but then they get in their cars and pump a fucking techno remix of Madonna's - Like a Prayer and think they know the deal....fucking ERRRKKKKSSSS the shit out of me...

maybe i need anger management...that or a spiked bat

i try never to turn KTU on so I don't even know half of what they play. i just know to steer clear of a party that had KTU on the flyer.

how do you stop liking a song? just because it is overplayed doesn't change the quality of the song. i could understand if you are sick of it, but in principle the song itself shouldn't be any better or worse.

mainstream = radio
its kind of hypocritical of society if they associate eletronic music with drugs which is the obvious and at the same time give the same music publicity. if you find it suitable to play electronic music over the radio then please find it acceptable to the music culture to dedicate a radio station for its genre. hiphop has its own station, dance has its own station...damn clear channel...let our culture live..long live the music culture. trance4ever

Ok Ok, We all hate KTU... But think of this... At least they're playing some somewhat good music. I personally hate Rapture, but I used to love Sound of Goodbye, and still think it's a pretty decent track, maybe I'm just a sucker for cool vocals.

Unless you would rather them listen to Nelly or Eminem

At least it's somewhat of an introduction to trance. Hey, I'm sure we all started with commercial stuff, and wanted to learn more about this type of music and we grew from there.

whenever i hear that commercial i think the same thing too. who knows, maybe theyll get blank & jones will come and remix it on the spot, as well. the least they could do is play a better mix of will i also.

i dont mind cheesey tracks to be honest...personally i LOVE Barthez - On The Move and thats one of the cheesiest tracks ever made..

what i do mind is cheesey people who pretend they know the music and the scene cus they listen to KTU or 92.3 on Saturday nights....when they only have a glimpse of what trance is...

Does 92.7 still do there show in Webster hall Saturday nights? That show used to be pretty good at times. The had Aquagen, chemical brothers, and other international talent on that show.

But I have a personal solution for that.
You get into your car, open all the windows, pump up the volume, and put in the latest tiesto set from impulz.
And when you stop at a red light, all these teenie boppers and juicers are looking at you, thats when cafe del mar(marco v remix) comes on, and all you can say is try to find that on your little KTUs or Kazaas.
Now thats the power of real trance.
