Free and basic video editor
Does anyone know of one? I tried VideoThang but I just keep getting an error when I attempt to export the edited video.
I want to do the following:
1. Split/shorten an existing video
2. Place music over the top at an adjustable volume.
Thanks. No trial versions please. I want something 100% free.
I actually opened this thread without seeing you were the thread starter. Thought it was a bot, and was just about to suspend
Not sure about free ones, sorry. My gf uses Vegas, which is pretty much the opposite of what you're after.
Edit: I just asked her anyway. She suggested Windows Movie Maker
Holy shit. That has been on my computer since SP2 and I never realised. Suits me perfectly. Thanks.
what program does your mum use for her website?
Windows Movie Maker is nice. It's the program I use to make my NY videos:
Very simple, but is it fun!
Armed with this information I may have to make a video appearance on tranceaddict.com/forums.

My gf and I still have some cool keyboards/samplers/gear (she used to produce too), but none of it has even been set up for a while now, except for the sampler hooked up to my gf's computer. Can't bring ourselves to sell it
"Sushipunk and Sashimihardcore" would be an awesome name for a big beats act

She lol'd.
Well, I don't know her name and that's the best feminine for "Sushipunk" I could think of. I tried to come up with a feminine version of Stu but "Star" sounds like the nickname of a girl Boris would want to bonk
