on valentines im going to dance at a theater.
after wards i'll take krypton to eat at my favorite restaurant in town

Nothing. I hate going out on Valentines Day, as everywhere is packed and kitschy. Heaps of places jack up the prices too, just because they can. Fuck that!

I'll probably just cook my gf dinner, and chill out on our deck with some wine, candles, whatever.

aww, that actually sounds so nice. i think i will convince krypton to do that instead & take him to that restaurant a day it's not jam packed.

It's far more relaxing than going out on one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year Going on a regular night is better for service etc. too, as there generally aren't a billion bookings for the night.

i say it every year. i HATE valentines day.. i can't believe how many people get sucked into this rubbish holiday every year. at least yukki is reciprocating the valentines crap, i can't tell you how many women i know who believe valentines day is for your boyfriend/significant other to buy you a bunch of shit and rub your feet and tell you things like 'you are beautiful inside AND out' it wouldn't occur to them that guys like to be appreciated once and a while too. i guess that's why they needed to invent steak and blowjob day, i hope it works.

you're right. the gf's are always EXPECTING the huge walgreens teddy bear, chocolate, dinner, flowers, like a pampering day.. doesn't the bf take you out to eat all the time anyway? jeez. i think bfs aren't appreciated on vday, so that's why IM cooking & on an other day (suggested by sushi) i'll take him to the dinner
